Restore a tighter seal around your exterior door with the Kerf Door Weatherseal. This 97-inch black door weather stripping is designed to fit into an existing kerf slot, helping seal gaps around the door frame and reduce unwanted drafts, wind, rain, dust, and outside noise.
Built with a flexible sealing profile and a secure exposed-barb kerf design, this weatherseal presses directly into the door-frame groove for a firm installation without complicated mounting hardware. The 97-inch length can also be trimmed to match your specific door frame.
Worn or damaged weather stripping can allow outside air to pass around the door frame. This replacement kerf weatherseal creates a flexible barrier around the door, helping maintain a more comfortable indoor environment throughout changing seasons.
The integrated PVC flange features an exposed-barb design made to grip securely inside the kerf groove. Simply measure the required length, trim the weatherseal as needed, and press the flange into the existing kerf slot.
Designed for dependable everyday use, the weatherseal combines a flexible sealing profile with an embossed polyethylene cover, PU foam core, and PVC flange. The flexible construction allows the seal to compress against the door while returning to shape as the door opens and closes.
The weatherseal helps create a barrier against:
By reducing air movement around the door, a properly installed weatherseal can also help maintain indoor temperatures and improve the overall efficiency of the door opening.
The full 97-inch length provides plenty of material for door-frame applications and can be cut to the required size. Measure the existing kerf area before cutting for the best fit.
